Trust In God
Trust in God, His loving arms surround you,
Turn to Him for comfort when you’re sad.
Trust His promise that He will uphold you,
Let Him cheer you, lift your spirits, make you glad.
Trust in God when you have failed to be like dear Jesus.
Know the forgiveness that He offers full and free.
Trust in God, He knows the future, He will help you,
To His child He whispers, “Come abide in Me.”
Yes, trust in God, He knows your every weakness,
Let Him soothe your troubled mind and hurting heart.
Trust in God, He waits to have you lean upon Him,
He’ll lift you up, new courage every day He will impart.
You have not wisdom of your own to solve Life’s problems.
You cannot see what lies down the road you trod.
But do not fear dear child, or worry for tomorrow.
Lift up your head, believe He cares, and trust in God.
