Welcome

Welcome to Omega Heartcry Media.

In early 2003 while preparing PowerPoint sermons, a lay preacher, David H. Thiele discovered two Christian posters being advertised over the internet. The messages of these posters had to do with God’s “unconditional love” and “unconditional grace.” Upon reading these messages, the question struck his mind, “Are these statements supported by the Bible and affirmed in the Spirit of Prophecy?” The Spirit of Prophecy is foretold in the Bible (Read Revelation 1:2, 9; 12:17; and, 19:10). And it is a gift promised to the church for the purpose of edifying it (1 Corinthians 14:5, 12, 26).

Beginning with the Bible, David searched diligently to discover any support for the idea that God’s love was indeed unconditional. It did not take long to find evidence that unconditional love has no basis in Scripture.

God destroyed wicked nations living in Canaan so that Israel could have that land promised to Abraham. He warned Israel through Moses, “Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out. And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.” KJV, Leviticus 20:22, 23, emphasis added.

Again, God said to Israel, “If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;… I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you…. And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:… I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.” KJV, Leviticus 26:3, 11, 15, 30, emphasis added.

The Psalmist recorded, “Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:… For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images. When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel.” KJV, Psalm 78:56, 58-59, emphasis added.

Hosea, while demonstrating the great compassion of God toward erring Israel, also wrote in language that is inconsistent with the concept of unconditional love. “All their wickedness is at Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.” KJV, Hosea 9:15, emphasis added.

David’s research led to the publishing of What Wondrous Love, and, Have the Faith of Jesus, through Teach Services, Inc. Other book projects are being further researched and prepared for publication with Omega Heartcry Media. Additionally, David will be blogging, podcasting, and sharing videos to help interested persons, such as yourself, to understand the Scripture supported sanctifying process of character perfection in which all disciples of Jesus should engage. It is our hope that this ministry will be of infinite blessing to you as you enjoy the services we supply.
