Let me linger in your presence,
In the silence, be thou near.
As I start my day with you, Lord
Banish all my doubt and fear.
Let your words take on new meaning,
As your truth I seek to know,
Be my source of strength and power,
When to my daily tasks I go.
May your joy flow out to others,
As I share with them your love,
Give me patience, courage, wisdom,
Send your blessings from above.
Yes, I linger here with you, Lord.
Trusting You, my King of Kings.
Let my praises reach the heavens.
Hear the song that my heart sings.
May my prayers come up before You,
By your Spirit’s mighty power.
May I sense Your peace and comfort,
In this quiet worship hour.
